
🎉 Thanks to your incredible support, our school fundraiser was a success! We were able to donate 27 stuffed animals to our local fire and police departments. 🧸
These cuddly companions will go to children in our community who need a little extra comfort during difficult times. 💛
Representatives from the Roy Fire Dept and Roy Police Dept were able to stop by our closing assembly to accept the donation.

Congratulations to all of our students who participated in the Stem Olympiad this year! Grades 3-6 were able to select students to compete in Experimental Design, Krypto, Paper Chains, Pentominoes, Set, and Tile Trials. Students competed against about 5 other schools from our district in their session. Roy students placed in the following categories:
5th Grade Krypto-3rd Place
3rd Grade Paper Chains-3rd Place
4th Grade Pentominoes-3rd Place
4th Grade Tile Trials-1st Place.
We are proud of all of our students who participated. Way to go!

Roy Community Literacy Night was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who joined us at Roy High for an evening dedicated to the joy of reading. A heartfelt thank you to Jennifer A. Help us wrap up Dr. Seuss week. In honor of the story "The Sneetches" we are going to wear our school colors on Friday. We all belong at Roy Elementary
It will also be the last day of Book Fair. Stop by for any last purchases from 3:20-5:00 pm.


We are excited to see all of you at our Literacy Night, Thursday, March 6th from 5:30-7:30.
Our Dr. Seuss theme continues on Thursday with "Hats Off to Dr. Seuss". Help us celebrate Dr. Seuss and his well loved books by wear a hat to school.
Our Book Fair will be open from 3:20-7:00 pm.


In honor of Dr. Seuss's book "I'm Not Getting Up Today", we will be wearing our pajamas to school on Wednesday.
The Book Fair hours today will be from 12:20-2:00. There are lots of great bedtime story books!


To continue the Dr. Seuss week festivities, on Tuesday we will be dressing up like our favorite character from a book.
If you visit the Book Fair after school from 3:20-5:00, you might buy a new book that has your next favorite character.


Hey Roy Rams!! Don't forget that Monday is not only spring picture day, it is also class picture day. (This means everyone will be in a picture.)
It is also the kick-off to our Dr. Seuss Week! In honor of Dr. Seuss's book "Fox in Socks" wear your crazy socks!!
And...if that was not enough for a Monday, it is the first day the Book Fair will be open. You can visit it after school until 5:00 pm today.


We will be wrapping up Kindness Week tomorrow. Wear red/pink/ and hearts tomorrow!
