What is the Community Council?

The Community Council is an elected group of parents, teachers, and the principal. It is their responsibility to plan and report on the usage of funds allocated to the school as part of the School LAND Trust Program. The plan the Council writes focuses on the school's greatest academic need(s). Plans are approved by the local school board. Our Community Council meets three to four times each year.

How do I get involved?

Meetings are open to the public. You are welcome to attend the scheduled meetings. Elections for the Community Council are held each Spring. Parents are elected by parents of students attending the school. Parent members must have a student attending the school during one of the first two years of their service.
